Comments under Articles

I posted a comment under an article yesterday. It was the first time I did such a thing. I went back today to see if anybody else had commented and they have, however my comments were no longer there. Is this a normal policy here? I don't come to the site often but I got an email extolling the merits of this article explaining what tier 4 regulations were all about in plain language, so I clicked on the link, read the article and added a comment. Did I do something wrong?

No, you didn't do anything wrong. Article comments go into a moderation queue before approval. Not many people comment on the articles, though.

BTW I just checked and the only comment from you that I see is a comment asking about your previous comments (which I don't see, and they weren't deleted).

Yes, that is my point, yesterdays comment is not there, though it was for some hours after I posted it. It was immediately after T.H.'s. I checked several times to see if anybody else had replied before closing the tab.
