check valves for top link

looking to build a hydraulic top link but cannot find double pilot check like the ones used in the ccm top link. can I use a regular inline check valve for hydraulic flow one way. I need a certain length so I need to get a 3x8 cylinder and check valve it . will it work the same and not drift ,I was thinking should I use 2 inline check valves or just 1 thanks

I have seen a double piloted check valve offered at eBay on more than one occasion, that's where I would start. Grainger's also offers them new.

Just be careful that you understand how these double pilot operated check valves work and factor that into how you will be using the cylinder. Depending on the application the readily available ones may work just fine. For a top link they won't. Here is a link to the post that talks about the double pilot specs. Try contacting someone at a "Parker Hannafin Hydraulics" outlet. Most major cities have them (One in Louisville I know) They should have what you need.

Talk about timing!!!! I just "installed" my FIRST CHOICE hydraulic top link today, on my finish grading tractor. I bought it through Sweet Farm Equipment.
