We just made another change to the forum - removing the banner at the bottom of the page.
Please update if the loading times have improved - they should have, since now you're loading one less image, and that script is only loaded once, not twice.
I hope this improves the conditions for those who were having any loading time problems, and we'll continue to tweak different features of the forum to improve performance.
