Hum, I guess the homeowner keeps his chain saw on the kitchen counter.....

I'm a responsible chainsaw owner. I keep my chainsaw in a safe.

My concealed saw of choice is a little electric unit with a short bar... much easier to hide under a coat.

Honestly - I know I don't want a home invader so close I could use a chain saw. My choice - 12 gauge. It reaches out further.

As mentioned, a battery powered chainsaw would be an excellent weapon.

Reminds me of a James Bond movie. "There are more chainsaws sold in Florida than any other state. The Mafia finds them quite useful".
