Cat III quick hitch

I'm looking for specs on building a cat III quick hitch.

I have one on a 440 AC tractor but it may be class 4 not sure,--probably could measure it and see what size material its made from,---two guys cant lift it to hang it on the 3-pt arms, so its made from some thick stuff. thanks; sonny580

Hey,

Thanks for your reply. I'm needing the thickness of the metal used, (I'm presuming that most of these are made of square or rectangle tubing). I found a lot of different makes on the market and got some specs but not the thickness of the main structure.

I built one years ago out of 4x4x3/8 square tubing. I used 1&1/2 inch plate for the hooks it spent about 15 years on the back of a 150hp MF now its on a 1486 IH. Never has bent or twisted

Did you get a chance to measure your quick hitch?
