Cat 301.8c mini excavator issue ???

Hi all,

My mini is not starting and when it does it runs and dies so I was told by local rental dealer that
they had issues with the small inline fuel pump and suggested I check and see if it making a noise
when I turn the key forward. problem is I cannot find where its located ? Here is what it looks like.

Most all 301 series have the same one. SN# JSB04699

can you remove a hose on the injection housing and see if the pump is pumping?

Found it under the engine there is a inspection plate underneath the unit with 4 bolts. The small
Inline pump was bad so I found a generic one at Napa and it’s working great again.
