Does anyone know if the cx36b and a case cx50 would use the same size bucket pins? I found a quick coupler but can't go check current to see if it would fit. I thinki g the cx36b has 40mm pins and the cx50 has 50mm pins.

I'm quite certain the cx50 uses 45mm bucket pins as do many of the 5-6 ton minis.

Ahh yes, I believe you are correct. I need to go out some calipers on my pin and measure. Tape measure indicates they are 1 3/4 which seems big.

But 45mm is just about 1.77 inches so maybe it will fit.

I did remeasure with calipers...they are 40MM not 45MM so the coupler I had found didnt work out. Tring to find other options.

Quick couplers are handy on your excavator. I've got a hyd operated one on my machine but think a simple mechanical type would be about as good for the few times I switch buckets. Either style eliminates the time and mess of pulling and realigning greasy pins.

Got a quick coupler....company from upstate NY so not too far away. So far very happy with it.

It will span a pretty wide distance from pin centers so I should have some flexibility. My question is though, the width has some space in it. Is this normal or so I need to tack some spacers in there?
