Seeking advice on best cart/wagon to get to pull behind my 1025R JD, to haul bulk materials, dirt, firewood, brush, etc. Brand, size, feature recommendations are sought. Thanks.

I've found that a carry-all works as good for me as a tow-able cart for the materials you mentioned...they are very adaptable for different hauling applications...
...a self dumping trailer is another story...

Thanks, /Pine! Is carry-all a brand name, or could you tell me where you got yours so I can look at their products?

Another selection:

3 Point Carry All For Tractors

A thing to watch for: some have the rear horizontal bars connected near the end. Those work for building a platform on, but you can't use a pallet or use it like forks.

A trailer is better for long items like logs or tall brush. With a carryall you have to carry it crossways or drag one end.

One advantage of a carry-all, if you haven't thought about it, is you can make the platform to do just exactly what you want it to do, and it will sure "back up" a heck of a lot easier than any trailer.:) And will turn a lot sharper too! Not to mention it will probably be cheaper to buy/construct too.

Thanks, James KOUA, good points I'll take to heart.

Much depends on your terrain. If steep hills are involved, a carryall is safer than a trailer, and a trailer is safer than a wagon. As alluded in an earlier post, that same order applies for maneuverability. And reverse order for capacity- generally speaking, wagons have the largest capacity and carryall the smallest.
