Great work on the grapple, 4shorts! And, as always, Mrs. 4shorts exceeds perfection too! I love the "Tooth fairy" emblem!

Thanks Farmgirl. We appreciate that. The denturest just called and he was laughing so much. He asked how we did it and when we told him wifey does them he said "I got more work for you" So the joke turned into a paying job. Now that's cool :dance1:

4shorts---you haven't "worked" a day in that shop. You're having so much fun it should be illegal. :D

Well my friend your pretty close to the reality of it. I'd say its 75% fun and 25% work. I've had so many opertunties to go elsewhere for work but this place keeps calling me back but there were times it was close.
I know you love to restore things like I do so I found this photo of an old MF tractor I bought almost 30 years ago and fixed it up. It had a Perkins diesel and it was a brute. Had to split it because of oil leaks and I remember it had a crank problem but I eventually completed it.
I never had much to work with in tools or equipment back then but somehow I got it done.
Here's the photo of the day I literally dragged it home

4shorts--Great before photo. Somewhere I have seen an after photo of that. It might have been your website or perhaps a prior post of yours but I think I've seen the after photo.

You just might have. It was a sore looking thing. It was buried in a old barn for 20 years and wasn't running when I got it. I'd NEVER tackle anything like that now.
Here's another view. My two dons were so young then but then again so was I

Thanks Jeff. I appreciate that :)

For anyone interested I'll attach a few more photos of the old Massy project. Keep in mind that this project was 25 years ago. The two little boys in the photos are my sons who are now in the military. The only welding unit I had back then was an AC Lincoln tombstone unit. Man that thing burnt lot of rods. I built the bucket with it as seen in the photos.

Today we got the BX out and put the forks on it to move all our summer outdoor stuff to storage for the winter. Now it's time to put up the Christmas lights. We used to put up thousands of lights a few years ago but our boy went over to Afghanistan and we never had the heart to put them up but this year we will put them up again seeing his home safe and sound. The lights will take us two weeks to run but the locals love them.

Wifey even bought me a new vacuum for Christmas today. I can't use it until Christmas but I did plug it in to check it out. Very powerful.

4shorts--what great photos and what a youthful guy you were. The ladies must have been all over you back then, especially when you offered them a ride in your wheel loader. What a charmer.

Any more photos of the completed tractor?
