On my farm insurance policy I have to add a rider for custom farming. This allows for working for pay on other peoples property. I have to declare how much income I get from this operation. The rate charged for the rider must be based on how much work you do. My farm liability does carry over with this option.

I have serious doubt that Kubota is insuring you if you finace with them. They insure the tractor not you. If the tractor gets wrecked, they want their money. If you run into something or damage something, I doubt they cover that. Just guessing here, I'd have to read a policy to know for sure.

No, Kubota insures the Tractor and tractor only and nothing else! They want the tractor covered if anything happens to it because techinically its still theirs till you pay it off.

If theft, fire, water, or transportation damage occurs kubota's insurance is supposed to cover it. So its good to know if i need to help someone out and someone hapens to ram the trailer and tractor while in tow, at least the tractor is covered. I have the literature and will see if i can post it...

Damage to the tractor and trailer while in tow that was caused by others falls under their liability insurance. Should it fall off the trailer or get damaged in an accident caused by you your tow vehicle would not cover damage to the trailer or tractor, only the damage it did to others, the road, etc... Either way avoid any and all accidents and tie down your equipment! Or just stay home, its cheaper in the long run when doing friends and family favors.
