And in India, they bathe in Raw Sewage. Ganges river. I guess it won't kill you.

Then again it might. It wasn't so long ago that our rivers were that polluted, with towns routinely pumping raw sewerage into them. My BIL tells about swimming in a nearby lake when he was a kid, and a turd floated past him. Nobody thought that was a problem, then.

People dump animal waste on fields all the time ( plus the animal waste that’s naturally deposited on the ground ) I’m not sure what the big deal is with dumping human waste on a field

Problem with biosolids from a municipal source is it contains whatever has been put down the drain in that city. Most of us who live in rural areas are pretty cautious about what we put down the drain because we have septic systems that are expensive to fix if we mess it up. City dwellers - not so much!
There have been some major lawsuits around here brought by adjoining and downstream landowners to several companies that wanted to spread municipal biosolids on some timber holdings. So far the adjoining land owners have won.

Try not at all. If it flushes and don't back up, it's good to go,

Here in Michigan, it's illegal to spread biosolids on any field to be planted with crops for human consumption within 3 years of application. Problem with raw biosolids from a municipal sewage plant is, you have no idea what is in it.

Don't want to be eating vegetables grown in human turds anyway,

Exactly. Biosolids is a misnomer. A lot of it is not bio anything, it is just anything that can be flushed plus commercial waste. Granted most of it is turds but it does not take a high percentage of bad stuff to become a problem. Cities ought to keep it and put it on their lawns and street trees.

It's only waste from certain animals, generally with a vegetarian diet. You aren't running the risk of uptaking the same toxins and pathogens which your body has already rejected once.

I would have a hard time digging around in my garden knowing I was digging in my own poop. Someone elses would be unthinkable! Programming.

A neighbour once shoved the handle of his spade into his septic tank to find the bottom. Then took a a large weed leaf and wiped it off. Good as new!
