Best Way to Weld Aluminum

Do you just swap liners when going from steel to aluminum? Never really thought about how much time/effort it would take to convert the same machine back and forth:

1. Swap gas bottle (same regulator?)
2. Remove standard wire spool.
3. Swap out liner & tip
4. Install Al wire
5. Reverse for next job on steel

Anything else?

I have a separate whip for aluminum. It is much faster to swap whips. So, I swap whips, wire, and gas bottle.

Same regulator? Never checked fitting compatibility between C25 and pure argon bottles. Or do you just run pure argon for everything?

Same regulator for C25 and Argon. Different reg for CO2. For MIG welding mild steel C25 is much better than pure argon.
