Tom - agreed - for a longer run I paint a few guides then using a refurbed Ryobi trimmer with a edger head and cut the sod first and dig or roll up.

I skimmed it once when I bought it, just to know what is covered (almost everything), and every time I have a job to do, I look up that job. Lots of good tips, a real time saver, and it covers some safety issues. Best practices for every operation.
