I was at a party / social event that overlooked the Vegas strip. The couple we were seated with used a portable aerator when pouring the wine from the bottle into their glass. This was the first I had ever seen one.
I asked: "do those really improve taste like they are advertised?" The husband replied: "Yes, it makes all the difference!"
When he set the bottle down, it was in a different position were I could see the label. It was two-buck-chuck. lol
After some thought, I think it's probably a better match for that bottle than some of the more expensive and "refined" wines. (Refined by marketing.)

Well, consulted on a bee cutout today at an apartment complex. Great people, and the maintenance crew said I can use any tools and ladders they have. Perfect! The colony is between 8' and 20' up.
Shooting for a cutout date next Saturday. The maintenance guys are going to check the walls and ceiling inside the apartment with a stethoscope to listen for the presence of bees to help pinpoint the location of the colony. I'll post up photos next week!

Starting the bee cutout today at 8am. I hope to be home by sunset. The owners of the building said they couldn't hear bees in the wall or ceiling of the interior, so this could get interesting.
Im feeling a little under the weather, and my beautiful assistant cannot join me until noon... So this may be a long day

Little bastards are right behind this band board it seems, going to take a look behind it. But if so, this is an interior job

Confirmed with a hole saw through the band board. Bees are in the kitchen ceiling. We come back another day.

Well the phacelia sprouted... But I ended up with an acre of volunteer buckwheat instead 
. Bees are at least enjoying this.

Yep. The seed bank is tremendous. You plant 100# and it drops 1000#. It was tilled, sprouted, tilled, three times this spring... And this is what still remained to sprout
It should mature mid June, get tilled in, and bloom again mid July for a good dearth food source.
