I dunno. I think if the opportunity arose, I would be happy to sit across a table and have a beer with J. He actually adds value. We don't agree on everything, but at least he has and shares knowledge of trees and tractors. Life would be dull if we always agree.

The guys that I ignore spend almost zero time discussing our core interests and most of the time being what my wife's family calls "**** disturbers". I have never once felt the need to peek at their posts or that I have lost something from ignoring them. I would miss J's input.

I just don’t like anybody that accuses everybody that doesn’t agree with them of being a troll, that’s just a bit beyond what I can stand, and I’ve seen him do it too many times

Thank you. I appreciate the respectful way that we can discuss and disagree without the conversation being nasty. A discussion forum is just that, and like you said it would be dull if we always agreed on everything. I always learn more from a different perspective than if everyone has a “ditto” response. And I prefer wheat beers or amber ales.

Drifting is natural. I identify as a drifter and harshing my drift would be tantamount to prison time.

Banning anti-drifters is the only way to stop their micro-aggressions.

Today I was in town and decided to stop at a Total Wine Store (Walmart of liquor stores). I happened to see a German Hefeweizen that was named one of the 10 best beers of the world at an international beer festival, so I had to buy it. It is made by the oldest brewery in the world (1040). I don’t usually buy European beers but I have to admit this is really tasty. Now I’m spoiled and the beer isn’t cheap.
