Ballast box Fill?

Just curious as to what I should use for ballast in my 3 point hitch ballast box? I don't want to use permanent cement.

Sand and/or gravel would be two possible temporary solutions.

Sand is cheap and will be more dense then gravel which should make it weigh more. Any metal would be good also. Just get 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,004 BB's.

Solid concrete blocks will be a LOT easier to load and unload.

You could also use used wheel weights from your local tire store. Place them in containers or buckets.
