Don,
Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures. You have the setup I want with the TnT and BH90 and it really helps to see actual pictures of the installation.
Thanks again

So I wonder why my dealer told me, and the manual reads, that the 3 point has to be removed, lift arms and leveling arms, for installation of the BH90. I couldn't leave well enough alone and hooked up the BH90 today, without removing the lift arms or anything. I only loosened the stablizers so the arms could float free until I had the BH90 connected.
The only thing I see that could be an issue is the possibility of a stabilizer hose hooking on the end of the lift arms, but that's easy to watch and avoid.
I do believe this is why they cut the frames on the sub-frame and the BH they way they did.
Anyone have any tips on the lift arms when using the BH90 on the back?

Thanks,
Chris

Don..... great picture essay of how to remove the hoe. It seems that it is as simple as the BX hoe to remove. The only thing that I do differently is that when I remove the hoe, I put the two ends of the hydro lines together rather than using the caps. I find that there is no contamination using this method and there is no chance of rust on the male side of the connector either. Also, should there be any expansion of hydro fluid by temperature change, this will allow the fluid to circulate within the system and balance out while the hoe is at rest.

Thanks for the post/pics. Well done. I knew the BH removal was easier on the KUB than the NH I bot. You've just shown it! The NH is much more of a hassle as the subframe comes off with the BH, the arms/bucket are stored stretched out. Anyway, thanks.

Also thanks so much from me! You've made the process so clear, I can actually see how the process would be reversed to reattach the backhoe!

You really should be doing the manuals for Kubota. This is much better than the book. And I learned a few things, even after a year with the BH-90!

I know this post is old, but it should be a sticky to help out us newbie hoe owners.;)

Great job TXDon!

You're right Swampvol! I plan to get a BH and have wondered about the process. I bookmarked this thread. Thanks TXdon!

11. Disconnect hydraulic hoses on the following manner: (1.) Disconnect the inlet and outlet from the tractor. (2.) Connect tractor's outlet hose to the coupler of return hose.

One thing TXDon forgot to mention...make sure the tractor is turned off before disconnecting the hoses!!!

TXDon made that point very clear in step 9

I was thinking I might need a picture of my hand on the key on step nine to be consistent or someone might miss it.;)
I take the hoe off and on about every 6 months and still have to go step by step from the manual. The BH has been preforming flawlessly, except that one time it hit the water line.

I find that get the backhoe off is much easier that putting it back on. When I raise it up with the stabilizers, it wants to move to one side or the other. One stabilizer stays put and the other slides in as I am raising the hoe. The thing that ticks me off, is it is never consistent.

I use "cribbing" to keep the hoe in the raised position. When I need to reinstall the hoe,I need only to back into it and start the installation process

I thought about just sliding a floor jack under it when I go to put it back on. I'll try that next time.

Good tutorial. Same procedure for B26 backhoe. The only aspect I have some trouble with is getting the pins out. Finding the "sweet" spot that releases the pins has been a challenge for me. As you say, raising the rear wheels doesn't work.
