Totally agree,
I used one for my tractor and machines for many years before I could afford a full size garage.
Here in Ontario, they go for around 1500$

I looked hard at at lot of pole barn options. The cheapest 20x30 pole structure I found was in kit form for about $7000. A fully erected one was about $9000, not including site prep and stone/concrete pad. With a stone pad and everything about $10,000 is the minimum price of entry. Hence the carport idea.

I was talking about a sea going container here...was not clear .
They come in 8*40 or 8*20,water, wind and element proof and almost indestructible.
The cheapest ,safest storage I found for my equipment.
