I just recently purchaced a new B7500 w/FEL, and will purchase a 60"MMM this spring. I traded in a B7100 which I purchased New in 1995, had 330hrs. Great machine but lack in power, and no power steering. Plus the ROP on the 7100 was a pain when mowing around the property under trees etc.
My property is all hill which I mow approximately 4.5 acres. & I plow a driveway which is 400' long with the FEL.
I hope the upgrade to the B7500 was a smart move. Does anyone have any input to my new purchase?

I'm sure you'll like the B7500 better, but when I traded up from my '95 B7100 a couple of years ago, I moved on up to a B2710./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

I mow 3 acres no problem with power and the power steering is very nice. I know what you mean about the ROPS I lower mine to get under my apple trees, however you might want to consider a 3 point hitch mower it makes getting under the trees much easier. Just my two cents worth.
Enjoy and be safe.

We like our B7500 a whole lot. Most of the time she is <font color=orange>Lucy!</font color=orange>, but when I have the brush mower attached, she becomes "Mow-zilla". /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Wondering what your dealer give you for a trade in price for your B7100 w/FEL,for I to have a B7100 w/FEL 1995.

A neighbor has a B7100 HST and he is still disappointed he did not spend the extra $1000 and get power steering. They say you only live once, get what you want if you can afford it. You won't be sorry with the move to the 7500..

As I memtioned I traded in my B7100 w/mmm/FEL, 331hrs, the tractor was always stored in the barn, well maintained, traded back to the dealership I originally purchased, got $9400 on trade, purchased the B7500 w/FEL for 14,000
I don't believe it was a bad deal. I view many here for input before I purchase the New B7500. Wanted to stay local in case I have any problems. I live in upstate NY near Binghamton. I do have question? What better a rear finish mower or MMM, as memtioned before my property is all hill, and uneven, (OLD FARM LAND) Plus I'm looking to purchase a backhoe for the NEW BEAST!

If your ground is rough the midmount might have a tendancy to hang up as its vertical lift is limited.

I'll second the vote on the power steering. When my nephew took <font color=orange>Lucy!</font color=orange> for a spin a few weeks ago. He started turning, his eyes got wide, and he turned to me and said "It has power steering!"... as he proceeded to spin her around with little more than a finger. /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif

Isn't that why they are designed to be so easy to remove/install--that is what I do.
Notice in both pics there is no MMM.
The BX pulls a log into the western sunset while earlier the 2410 takes a well deserved break.

GluGuy,

You let him get away with calling your <font color=orange>"Lucy"</font color=orange> an "It"

They are easy to remove but when they are on the tractor mowing and its hung up on a rough spot or wet spot Its a little different.

TWINKLE_TOES,
I just couldn't trade her in /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif just knowing she setting on the dealer lot waiting for a new home, while the birds are going #2 on her,and the weather will be harsh, and she hasn't had a bath, also someone my buy her and abuse her. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif
If I was to sell I would do a sort of back ground check on the person. /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif
Ms.K an I have a strong bond. /w3tcompact/icons/love.gif
