Why aren't you using a tbar for the floor? That's the tool for the job...

Easy to find locally at HD/etc, not too costly, and MUCH better than a brush. You'd be done in 30 min tops.

Now you tell me. I got 1250 of my 1750 sq ft done. I guess when you just build one house in your lifetime, and your normal job is sitting at a computer, you just don't know all the cool tricks. It's a 3 hour round trip to Home Depot, and I'd be done by then, so my loss. In my next life I'll remember that. .

Sorry, man. The best mode is ask first, then proceed... You never asked the Collective I coated 1400-1500 SF twice in one day using that. And it came out pretty nice. A couple small defects but doubtful anyone but me will ever notice.

And built a platform for my washer & dryer.

Holy crow. You are getting to all the big things without taking a little time off after the CO. I'm guessing your off button is on the fritz. Great progress. I'm jealous. I start in the Spring.

I am worried about water leaks from the washer ruining your raised platform, but I can't actually tell what you made it of, so just ignore me if your happy with it.

Not worried. It will get a coat of varathane. We only turn on the washer water when we use it and I turn off the whole house when we're not here.
