Good on ya Bo! You must feel a 100 lbs lighter with that burden off your shoulders?
Also, thank you for taking the time to document your trials and tribulations , that's no small undertaking in itself to remain committed in keeping us up to date when there are so many other more important things.

Sweet! Did you throw cow dung at him as he left? :D I can't believe how much BS you put up with. I thought my guy was bad... Yours is systemically bad.

Please keep us updated on all the "nice-to-haves" that you're now going to work on.

Moving in is only one (big) step...now you get to live in it and find what works, what doesn't, and "hey, I want one of these now."

That can be as or more fascinating than getting to the occupancy permit.

I won't be moving in anytime soon. I want to sand all my interior log walls and put a coat of Varathane on them. Also I want to Varathane the entire tongue and groove ceiling. And when all that is done, I need to sand and Varathane the entire floor.

But before that, today I finished trimming the overdangles, and tomorrow I'm going to start on the gutters.

Thanks all. It has been a journey. Way more work than I anticipated, and more expensive than planned, but I'm loving it. It has exceeded my wildest dreams.

head inspector told me she will be doing the Final and that I have to get rid of my two 40' containers or she will fail me.

Bo I know you got the final but what happened regarding the two 40' containers? Stanley

I was wondering as well, but figured maybe you didn't want it out there in case the inspector found your blog.

I received my official Certificate in the mail!!! Woo Hoo!!

The inspector said nothing about the containers. He told me a year ago that they were a non-issue with him. I was afraid he might change his mind, but he's okay after all.
