If security is an issue, you might want to replace those hitch pins holding the actuator (especially if they are on the front end as well) so someone can't just reach in and pull the pivot pin and open the gate.

Hitch pins come out easily.... the pivot pin not so much.

However security isn t an issue. Privacy is the main concern, keeping out solicitors, JWs and relatives.

Note lack of intercom /call box.

I hid my outside key pad. It is wireless. The people I want in has a transmitter. I only put the keypad in for use when I forgot to get on while on my tractor. My gates open in, as to allow room for my truck with trailer to be completely off the highway when I turn in.
