Any tips on re-wiring a tractor?

I've got my YM240 all torn down waiting on some warmer weather to repaint it and I figured I'd run all new wires on it. I've never rewired a whole system before and I was wondering if anyone has any tips to make this job turn out right. Thanks!!

Since all wires are color-coded, the only way to do it right is to find a complete wiring harness, which is probably impossible; otherwise you are looking at a troubleshooting disaster unless you can use and label a different color wire for each replacement.

I assume you have the YM240 wiring diagram. Norm and I post it from time to time.

wiring is one of those things that you start early in the morn and STICK with it. Looks like you have a good diagram from California, seems fairly simple to me????? Of course as the day goes along you'll end up saying "NOW what was that &^%&% yellow/blue/red/brown wire for !!!"
