Do you have a sense of humor?

Like, I understand it may not have been that funny to you, but it was pretty obvious he made the comment in jest.

No worries, I know he doesn't. I even put in a smiley face. Blocking his drivel was one of the best moves I made.

Or he could be one of the many who thinks the only currency in the world of value is the US Currency.

I am also sure it is not funny to a Canadian visiting the US and converts his hard earned Canadian money to American dollars and loses a .25 (quarter) on the dollar.

But it's a conversion from Canadian Dollar to US Dollars, very similar to a conversion to any other currency. Like the Australian dollar, the New Zealand dollar, the Jamaican dollar, the Cayman Islands dollar, the Fiji dollar, the Namibian dollar, the Rhodesian dollar, the Zimbabwe dollar, and the Solomon Islands dollar.

It's REALLY not funny when I see the price you American's pay for a Grand L6060 then price one here with a loader and a snow blower and it is $90,000.

Even the Pound Sterling is worth way more than Canadian. I just paid $107.66 to have two fuel filters sent from England for my Ford 3000.

They are 3 pounds each over there. LOL

Don't ever go to Kuwait.

"The Kuwaiti dinar is the strongest currency in the world, with 1 dinar buying 3.26 dollars (or, put another way, $1 equals 0.31 Kuwaiti dinar). Kuwait is located on the Persian Gulf between Saudi Arabia and Iraq, and the country earns much of its wealth as a leading global exporter of oil."

You've both been around here long enough to know that neither of you are ignorant, you just differ in your personalities and points of view, so why treat him like so?

Don't ever go to Kuwait because it feels like the surface of the sun; I spent mere days there and I will never forget how hot it was at night.

I don't think Canadian money is as hard-earned as US $. 😉

Again, joking.

If any offense was taken, I truly apologize. I know y'all have your own leadership that does farmers and others who work for a living no favors.

Je m'excuse profondément mon ami.

I am seeing some of the best deals for used farm equipment out there from Canada.
My Challenger came from there.
Missed on another from there that was even better.

There is a problem buying tractors from Canada, you have to but fuel by the liter and the rpm’s are metric.

My dealer, whether they should be or not, sells more green and orange tractors to the US than they do here.
Closest town to me is a border town and all the used pickups the dealers get go stateside too. They all have a waiting list.

I knew what it meant, I’m just not sure what the seller thinks it means. If they are selling something for $500 do they think it a bidding thing and they will get more?
I won't make any OBO offers these days, some people are just too weird. I only offer full price and only if I know the item is worth it. The last thing I want is someone I don't know being offended and I am on their property.
