Another new shop

The building is 36 x 75 x 12 built by Morton Buildings. Construction started late November 2010. It is a retirement project but we decided to finish the inside even before I retire some time at the end of the next year. There is a 14 x 16 guest room, office 14 x 11.5 and half bath. Following pictured document what was done so far. The work is still in progress.

#2 All "lowers" are in.
#3 Basic structure is finished. Skirt is on. Got early snow.
#4 Basic structure is finished. just before skirt was put on.
#5 Building is insulated and ready for inside metal lining.
#6 Erecting wall framing.
#7 Another view of the wall.
#8 Julie drills holes for the electric wires.
#9 Leveling floor in the future guest room before Shaw engineered floor installation.
#10 Building before window openings were made.
#11 200 A cable installed.
#12 Wiring for heating. The box is for electric meter CT for heating.

Very Impressive. I really like the metal on the ceiling. I've been thinking of doing the same in my shop, but it's so far down on my list of priorities I doubt it will ever happen.

I think the metal walls and ceiling come standard with Morton's "energy performer" insulation package.

I think you can opt for walls finished in metal, drywall or not finished. The metal including the labor is cheaper than drywall without the labor.
