I have a 6275 Deutz with one set of remotes and I now now need 2. Dealer claims he can not get an additional spool valve to add on to my single. Is there some place I can tie into the hydraulics to add an after market spool valve. spool-valve.gifhydr2.gifhydr3.gif

It sounds like the valve that controls the remotes does not have a PB port ? This could be the reason the dealer cited...

You should be able to install a second valve that has a PB port and use it to replace the existing one...supply the old valve/remotes from the PB port on the new valve...

another option is buy a two spool valve (w/PB for future expansion) to operate both remotes old/new...

You can just use your existing remote and then use an electric diverter and get your 2nd set, or 3rd, 4th, how ever many you may need in the future.

I have looked at the splitters for doing this but at $500 with a one year warranty I was hoping to find a more permanent mechanical fix. I don't trust the electronics. Do they make any of these with a manual switch?

All you need is a supply line before the flow gets to the 3pt and insert a two or three spool valve in a convenient location.

A coil in a solenoid diverter valve is hardly "electronics".

Which one of those lines is the supply line?

Trace back from the pump.

I thought the pump was inside that big block of metal that had all of the hydraulic lines coming out of it. Was hoping it would be as simple as taking that plug out that is in the second picture and putting a hydraulic line there to spool valve. I will follow all the lines and take pictures of anything that may be a pump. Please stick with me I'm not stupid just uneducated about hydraulics.

Thanks Sam

If the pump is in the case, is there any pressure line that exits the case?

If so, insert the valve is series.

Deutz-Allis 6275

Hydraulics:
Type: open
Capacity: 14.8 gal [56.0 L]
Valves: 1
Pump flow: 17.7 gpm [67.0 lpm]

Should match the valve flow with tractor flow

here is a picture of what I now believe is the pump. A line goes from this to the block and enters on the left side in picture 2 from my first post, exits on the left to the cylinder for the 3 point.

I am finding 8, 12, and 25gpm valves and would guess I should go with the 25gpm?

So just add a tee fitting in the supply line?

If you tractor is open center, all valves should be in series with the PB from the first valve feeding the second and so forth.

If your hyd system is closed center, the you can tee all valves.

Ok, found some specs on tractor that says hydraulics open. so from pump to new spool valve with power beyond back to where the line was going. I had another question with the hydraulic capacity of 17.7 gal would it be ok to use a spool valve with a 25 gpm capacity.

From the photo

Your D-A has a duplex pump, with one pump certainly devoted to power steering needs.

The second section of the pump is available to power any 3ph and remotes.

When I added a loader valve to the Hurlimann, I taped in on the FEED line that supplied both the 3ph and the OEM remotes (smaller tubes are the high pressure supply, big tubes are returns) to supply the new 3 spool valve. The power beyond port from the new valve then connected back to the existing fluid supply line. Now I have a dedicated loader valve (that takes priority) as well as the OEM remotes and the 3PH with both position and load settings.

All good!

But, I've also got one of those manual "diverter valves " as Mtview posted set up to supply two cylinders on the york rake. Depth and angle (not at the same time) It works just fine.

Clear as mud...right? ;-)

Lower flow will give you greater control, oversized flow will feel like an on/off switch.

Yes, that would work.
