5325 for 4x4 rolls

I'm looking for my next tractor. It must be 4x4 with cab, loader, and atleast a 12 forward speed tranny. I'll use this tractor for general farm work, but mostly cutting and rolling 4x4 rolls of hay with my Vermeer rebel roller (which I may replace with new JD 4x4). Is the 5325 up to the task or should I be looking up to the 5425 or 5603.

What new JD baler are you looking to purchase? I am not familiar with the 4X4.

I am also looking at hay equipment. My dealer is sayign 468. I am debating 458 vs. 468.

I saw the 468 in action at the ag expo here a couple of weeks ago and it did a really great job! put more hay in the bale than all competitors and made a nice "squared off" bale, very tight roll.

The 5325 would handle the JD 448 or any other 4x4 baler, but if you ever wanted to move up to a larger baler, you would likely have to go to a larger tractor.

4x4 balers are not that hard on a tractor. I ran one behind a TN65 and a Ford 7710 and besides not getting dusted in the 7710 (cab) you really didn't notice much difference with that small a round baler. I was running a Hesston and I think it is pictured in my Avatar behind the 7710.
