The tractor wouldn't start about a month ago.....first time in over 1200 hours it didn't start on three turns of the starter. JD Tech came to the house and found a pinhole leak in the fuel supply line cut out the bad piece, replace it and also put in a backflow preventer. The machine went back to running good for a couple of weeks where it was used daily.
Today, after stiing unstarted for about 8 days, the same thing happened again......a brief rumble of the engine when the starter turned and the just cranking. I checked the fuel solenoid, the cutoff valves, tried bleeding at the fuel filter but no luck. Looked for another pinhole leak but didn't find anything. I'm assuming I got a new fuel filter when the tech was here the first time.
Before I call JD again, I thought I'd ask if anyone had a similar problem that was caused by something other than a leak in the supply line.
