3rd scv, power beyond?

I have both power beyond and a 3rd scv installed on my 2520. Something just don't look right to me. I know the plumbing is wrong. Would any body have any pics or info on how this should look? Having to tie the 3rd scv valve open with something to get power beyong seems like a chessy way to design this. These are both options offered for this tractor and no where does it say you can't have both at the same time. This has been bugging me since I got this tractor. No straight answers from dealer.

You right, something does not sound correct. I do not see the fittings or bypass hose for the Power Beyond-I don't think it's installed Looks to me like only the 3rd SCV is installed.

The way the power beyond works on the 2x20 series is through a loop. When you have the BH on for example you open up the loop hose and connect the quick connect on it to the BH. The end you removed the loop hose from goes on the other BH hose. When you take off the BH you reconnect the loop hose.
So you should have a female connect on the back of the tractor and the loop hose (male end) going into it. (The other end of the loop hose is permanently attached) You remove the loop hose male end from the female and this becomes your power beyond access.

I can't verify this yet, but you may lose power beyond capability
when you install the 3rd SCV which uses the PB to supply oil to it.

anybody with a backhoe out there install the 3rd scv?

Possibly. The JDParts drawing is very unclear-it even shows all the hoses connected to itself, sort of a "perpetual" valve I guess.:confused2:

For the price of the JD kit, many have added a valves themselves to get usually two remotes instead of one. Add to that this kit was not available for a year or two after the tractor was released.

You might want to check the 3x20 series drawings. I have the 3rd valve and the PB for my BH. The system is somewhat different but I haven't really looked at it yet. I did pull the BH off once to make sure there were no snags and I'll look more closely at it when I put the hoe back on after I'm done bush hogging. I can take some photos if you needto see the set up.

Rob, the 3x20's are totally different...not even close.
