When I push my clutch in it hits this piece of metal ( has small lockdown bracket for clutch on it) (shown in pic). If I just push the pedal a little left it will go past it. My question is, is the clutch fully disingaged at this point or should the pedal be traveling past this point. Thanks. Having some trouble with the pic but I will try to get it on here as soon as I can. In the meantime if anybody knows what I'm talking about it would be appreciated.

That metal piece with the "clutch hold-down clip" has a bolt with a screw adjustment on it.

The clutch pedal should NOT go past that point as it could do damage to the clutch. That bolt limits the travel of the pedal. If the pedal goes past it, there is a problem.

If you look in your manual under clutch adjustment, it should have a measurement for minimum freeplay, and maximum pedal travel.

Also, your clutch is fully disengaged at the point where you could use the clip to lock the clutch pedal down. (probably sooner than that, but definitely by that point)
