2210 on the way

Well, after 3 months reading reviews and getting prices, I've made a decision to go with a JD2210. Deposit placed today!
I have 6 acres with a new house going up in the spring. Will be great for helping with the landscaping.
New drive to put in.
4 acre field to level and brush hog.
pole barn to put up this fall.
Lots of work, but looking forward to doing it!

Congratulations on your decision/purchase! I too maintain about 6 acres with a 2210 (FEL, 62C, 4Ft Rotary, 5ft backblade) and am very happy with my big little Deere.

Congrats Bob. I just put in an order for a new 2210 today. Like you. I've been mulling it over for quite some time. Unfortunately, it will be for my property on the east coast and I'm stuck out west until late August - it's killing me /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I've got 2.5 acres which isn't very big but I do have a business there with a parking lot to maintain (gravel, snow in winter) plus a ton of landscaping work to do, especially when we start building our house. The house will be a ways back from the road so it'll have a long driveway to maintain as well. It'll give me a chance to help out our neighbour as well since he's been so great to us since we got the property.

I'm starting with a 54"MMM, FEL, and rear blade. That should get me started with the tasks I want to do but I can see more attachments in my future /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Case/New Holland was a close 2nd in my decision but the JD dealer is just 2 minutes down the road. I'll post some pics when I get going.

Thanks to everyone for all their insight. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute to this forum now instead of just soaking it all up.
