Same here. Occasionally we'll have a relatively snowless winter and it's kind of boring. Can't do any of the usual winter activities (snowmobiling, shoeshoeing, etc.) but too cold to do much of anything else outside. I like winter.

Had a call from the Ford dealership yesterday. They really want to buy back my truck and will pay more than the listed value and have people waiting. I said no, I love my Ranger. She asked if she could call back in a few months . . .

I was tempted to trade my 2020 F150 in too and get the new body style, but like a coworker said to me "do you really want to buy a new truck now, when they are scrambling to find any make-do micro chips and parts they can manage to find to get them out the door?"
That made sense to me.

That's the thing...trade it in, then what are you gonna drive? Choose something way overpriced from the meager selection they have on the lot? No thanks.
My wife gets those calls too for her 7 year old Buick. Not interested either.

Personally, I'd never even consider buying new, I'll get something 7-8 years old in good condition then drive it 'til it drops. If nothing else, waiting that length of time shows which models are troublesome and which aren't. Downside of course is you don't have the choice of options, but that's not as big a deal today when you're stuck with this package or that.

Getting back on topic, I'd consider a Ranger next time I need a truck. Hopefully the supply crunch will have eased by then.

As seen here today. On Monday am I'm picking up my new snow rim/tire setups. Do we really need them?

I say good timing with the snow tires.

OK, took me three trips to the tire shop but I finally some new blizzak snows. These rims are OEM on the cheapest rangers. Gee, do they ride differently than the OEM tires.

Gee whiz, these tires ride differently. Suppose they put lots of air in them to. In the spring we'll get general road tires put on the original aluminum rims. We only got 25K out on those OEM tires and the wear bars were showing.

I got invited to the premier release but declined. They keep sending me info about it but why would I buy another new one after only a few months? Happy with the XLT.

My 2019 Ranger XLT has developed an annoying "plastic on plastic" vibration/rattle on the driver's side between the windshield and steering wheel. If I press on the plastic piece just below the windshield it goes away. It is extremely annoying on longer trips. I hope I can convince the Ford service folks that this should be covered under the warranty program. I guess we will see but this has to fixed one way or the other. I can only turn up the radio so loud.
