Guy is asking $1200. He owns a small engine repair shop where he fixes lawn mowers and such. Seems to run well and starts right up. Is buying an older machine like this a bad idea? Parts hard to get etc?
Well it is a heavier duty mower than your x300 for sure and has power steering and a few other advantages such as a higher mowing speed, large floatation tires. I wouldn't think parts would be hard to get. Call Simplicity and ask them about it.
