1026r mower question

This is without a doubt a DEALER problem. The machine was delivered not working properly - now the dealer does not "know where to turn"? How many AutoConnect mowers has this dealer sold / delivered? We have almost thirty "1" Series out of my location alone - and yes we had some issues with the first few - but none of them left before they were working properly. Dont blame Deere when the dealer is the problem.

Hey jdphan why would you say that. When dealer drop it off at my house it would not latch after install deck. So saying john deere trained guy is manlfunction.You are wrong. How about tractor it self is malfunction.You drive over deck it should latch itself.If it don't its john deere problem.

This is a dealer issue not a mfg issue. The mfg is NOT reading this thread so you are really wasting your time if you think they will contact you because of your posts here. Nobody is saying the tech is stupid, maybe not trained properly or as mentioned above the dealer has little experience with this style of deck. There really are too many of these out there functioning very well as Bleed Green mentions. Here is my super arrogant opinion... The dealer is blowing you off because you are a complete (insert). I could be wrong but can't seem to figure out what you are after by repeating over and over that it is mfg. You may find that you will need to contact Deere directly which is pretty easy to do, and if you get a review sheet fill it in accordingly. Otherwise just keep on posting the same thing repeatedly as it appears to be resolving your issue.

Hope your dealer is taking care of your problem. Ordered my 1026r ,dealer asked me if I wanted auto connect mower ,told her no way.. She told me they work like a charm and have had no problems. I told her of the troubles I read here and other sites about auto connect and just wasn't going to try my luck that I was still able to get down and connect pto myself. Told me no problem would order 7 iron deck regular hookup. Hoping to have mower at dealership 11th or 12th..

I did just the opposite. I would not own a 1026R if it were not for the auto connect deck. I have had zero trouble with mine so far.

bleedgreen that did you to repair the ones you did have problems with.I heard on net some where bending arms drilling bigger holes.If need to bend arms make bigger holes .I would say that is problem with john deere?

Ask your dealer. If it were me I'd install a diverter valve and eliminate the quick connect fitting swapping.

You know this tractor was suppose to be released like 4-6 months earlier than it did. Was this deck issue part of the problem or was it something else?

yeah that guy showed me the grammer error. I looked over it. I can see why he made the comment about the guys broken english though. The op obviously has a tractor not set up right and is makin uncalled for comments about john deere in a john deere section. The op doesnt appear to have any mechanical know how either so he just strikes it off as john deere is junk. My 3520 came setup wrong with the 72 mmm. They couldnt figure it out and the dealer owns all the dealerships locally. I have good amount of mechanical skills and figured out why my mower was connecting just as the op. The dealer had the wrong bracket on as well as not having it adjusted properly. I gladly told my dealer that they need to cut loose the guy that worked on my machine twice to remedy the problem and didnt fix it. I fixed it my self without going to the "school". I did not slander john deere.
