    All said and done, running like new, no leaks and it’s splitting wood like a champ. I going to give’er a fluid change soon as I get some from Walmart tomorrow.

    Thank you, thank you very much. I’m sure the street elbow will do the job for me as well. I will convert mine as soon as the weather clears up a bit. I am considering an hydraulic oil fluid and filter change also. What type fluid do you use, I will be using dexron transmission fluid.

    Good morning, the hydraulic connection have been corrected. The problem now is with the control lever. I am getting a new lever and linkage today. I will keep everyone posted on the new linkage install.

    I tried to mount the handle differently to no avail. At any rate, tomorrow I am going to try a new handle. I will keep you guys posted.

    The reason I wanted to upload a video was to show how the control handle made contact with the valve body which would not allow me to apply the pressure cycle. Please look at my finger pointing.

    Yes sir the ram directions are correct now removing and replacing the valve like the valve on your Duerr splitter. My problem now is; the old valve handle may have wrong shape to complete the cycle.

    I installed a new control valve on my 20 ton MTD log splitter. My problem is; the piston retracts when it should apply pressure to split wood. Is there a method/adjustment to reverse the piston’s direction when the control valve is activated?
