No, my wr long came with a replacement grip for the joystice with 2 buttons. There was one pipe fitting that is eliminated in my install. Had to remove seat to get to it.
Did not know this. Last one I saw didnt.

Sorry to the OP, what a pain in the butt.

Your choice of a rinky dink dealership who doesn't even have a service department is the root of your trouble here. They obviously botched the 3rd function install and are deadheading your tractor hydraulics somewhere, which is robbing your power.

Sure, you might not be able to run high-range up a steep hill, but if you can't drive on flat ground and move your loader around, the entire tractor hydraulic system is suffering badly. Why did you think it was ok to keep using the tractor in this condition? STOP USING IT UNTIL FIXED!

Folks, when buying new : VET YOUR DEALER. Demand to see the service shop and meet the staff. Ask questions.

But back to the OP - try not to get your clams all steamed by things taking a week at a time. This is normal. The mechanical issue here must be rectified, but be aware - it is going to take more weeks of downtime. Hang in there.

If it came with the Joystick w/ the buttons, pretty sure it was the Kioti kit.

The valve is installed under the right step.
The KIOTI 3rd Function Valve for a CX2510 does not mount under the right step. The KIOTI Valve mounts to the RH Front Loader Bracket.
Hope this helps

I do not know hydraulics, but wanted to chime in on the joystick. The buttons are for 3rd function, whatever it may be. Up/down, open/close etc.
dealer told me to install 3rd function, they sell a kit that attaches to joystick to run to hydraulics. Maybe it's just a Kioti brand of what aftermarkets sell. Doesn't sound like that dealer is too promising. Good luck. New Kioti here, only issue is with me getting used to it, and comparing to last tractor. Guess they don't all operate identically. I do miss the fancy seat that my NH had.

Hate you are having issues. I'm not a mechanic but installed my third function/diverter valve myself. My switch was different than the one shown above. Mine has a rocker switch. Sorry it was about 8-9 yrs ago so I am not 100% sure what I had to do. I followed the directions from WR and it looks good and so far has worked about 8-9 yrs without issues.

I also took out the detent for the rear remote. My FIL who was using it off and on accidently engaged it once. Removing the detent forces you to use the stick/handle to make it work. I am/was ok with that. I basically only used the rear remotes for my flail mower or post driver.

I left 1 with detent, one without. I need the detent for wood splitter

From everything you have described here, you have an aftermarket 3rd Function Kit on your tractor. Not necessarily a problem, but it sounds like you have a flow restriction in the hydraulic system. This could be due to the Power Beyond circuit not properly plumbed, or the valve not properly installed. Do not operate the tractor until the issue is resolved, or you could do serious damage to the hydraulic pump and HST Unit.

Also, make sure your Rear Remote is in the Neutral Position at all times. Having the Rear Remote actuated without a Open Center or Tandem Center valve in the remote circuit will also Dead Head the hydraulic system and cause serious damage.

Ah you have dual remotes then. I only have the one. WHen I ran the post driver, I used a rope to tie it back. THe post driver has it's own controls.

I always thought about a second remote, meaning I kinda wish I had one. Say for the hyd toplink and flail mower together would be nice. Not worth the hundreds of dollars to me though. Had I known about it when I bought it I would have gotten it I'm sure.

Man, sorry to here the issues you are having but I agree with others, this sounds like a dealer issue. The CX is a stout little tractor and should not be giving you this trouble.

Unfortunately unless you specifically asked for the Kioti 3rd function it may be a 3rd party one. Dealers will do it sometimes to save money, no big deal as most are as good as OEM. But you need to find out which it is to trace it out and trouble shoot.
On my LS I ordered OEM rear remotes and went 3rd party with the 3rd function. Was way easier than I thought it would be to install both myself. So you shouldn't have any problems confirming how they're hooked up when you find out which brand 3rd function you have.

As far as the "bandaid" hoses there is no issue keeping it there when not in use, it just makes it a pass through. If anything not a bad backup in case your button sticks like mine did. I lucked out and had my hyd bucket still attached and caught it in time so no damage. I still might get one to put on when I don't have the Hyd bucket connected in case something like that happens again. You already paid for the hose's so it would save you from plumbing a switch to power the solenoid on and off.

Like it's been mentioned call an out of town dealer and explain what's going on, just mention the model and just say it has a "dealer installed 3rd function" and see what they say. It may not even have anything to do with the 3rd function so let them figure it out. Worse case you can see if a family member or neighbor has a trailer or you can even rent a U-haul pickup and trailer just to get it done and over with. You may even have to rent a tractor while it's getting fixed.
It definitely sucks having to fart around with a new tractor but it does happen unfortunately but it hurts even more trying to find a dealer to actually be able to fix it.

Gee, i guess the nearly 2000 hours i have on my trouble free unit must be a fluke.
I've never believed in coincidences, yet everybody I know who owns Kiotis have had good luck with them. The moon must have been right that day...

I understand the OP's frustration yet once he gets the kinks out and starts working it, all will be forgotten. That 2510 is on my short list for my next tractor... although it likely will have gears rather than fluid.

Where are you in Tennessee? There is a large Kioti dealer in Murfreesboro called Larry Stovesand Equipment that has been helpful in the past.

#1 KIOTI Dealer in America | Larry Stovesand Equipment

We are in the upper corner of northeat TN.
Yes, have been in touch with them. They are abt 5+ hours from us. Their service manager is extremely nice and kindly emailed us the installation instructions for the 3rd function valve. As best we can tell, the 3rd function is hooked up correctly.

Don’t run it until you get this sorted out. Is the 4wd a mechanical lever or push button/ switch?
I’ll dig around and try and get a hydraulic schematic of your tractor. I agree you are probably dead headed and your fluid is boiling hot. Explains loss of power and that it is not holding in 4wd if the 4wd is electro / hydraulic which I think it is.
I’m slammed most of today. I’ll pm you my phone number feel free to give me a shout and I’ll walk you through what I can
Hi. Thanks again. The 4wd is a mechanical lever that you can easily engage with the heel of your foot. We have looked and can't see that there is anything to adjust.

You need to find a dealer that will do the warranty work. Widen your search pattern. What part of TN are you in?

Also, what valve did they install(pictures) and how did you delete it? I suspect that has something to do with your "no power" situation.
Hi. We are in upper northeast corner of TN.
We requested the Kioti 3rd function valve and it was supposed to be a full install kit.

Ok, if your observations are accurate and your tractor has lost power after this installation, there are several things your install did not take into account. 1. Is pressure set correctly for implement.
2. Is flow coming from a power beyond.
3. Is there a diverter valve in the flow line
4. Is spooling at the valve closing or is it always open
5. Are you getting any whining from your hydraulic pump demonstrating a flow blockage or. Over working pressure.
6. Did they use a valve compatible with your tractor for the implement.
We use WR Long valves exclusively as they are applicable to our Lane Shark installs as well.

Something is blocking or diverting flow if it is affecting the entire tractor.
Make sure there is no debris within your unions.
You may also have a bad union.
(hydraulic coupler)
Thank you for your input, but all that is pretty much Greek to us. We did not install the valve ourselves as we requested that the 3rd function be put on the tractor we had just bought before it was delivered.
Understand about possibility of blockage or debris. Will check it out.
This gets extremely hot, wouldn't want to hold onto it for long.

Ok, this is a bit difficult if unfamiliar w hyd fittings.
Your fittings pictured are hot due to friction. You have a flow restriction someplace. Where did these bent tube elbows come from?
Are they the correct i.d. for your tractor?
If you were going with elbows, I have a propensity to use s.a.e fittings or even jic’s with the the proper inside diameter the rest of your tractor uses which more than likely are 3/8”.
I am not a fan of bent tube hydraulic fittings and although they are pictured, they may be undersized for your hydraulic pressure.
