Interesting, I’ve saw quite a few Yamaha only a few Suzukis (lots of the kids one the 50cc’s or what ever they where) I’ve never saw a Kawasaki
If I remember correctly Kawasaki had a Tecate I believe. Spelling could be wrong though

I found it.

Fans of sporty ATVs love the 250cc 2-stroke 3-wheelers (250R, Tecate, Tri-Z) cuz they have so much less weight than the equivalent sporty quads. It seems most of the time they are riding them, they are on only 2 wheels.

And?

At the end of the day 3 wheelers are awesome. Anything fun can kill you. There will always be those that take it to the extreme.

My youngest son who at the time was 13 loved and used it to the max. But it was him riding his dirt bike that was sized to him that broke his collarbone.

I would love to get a big red/350x/250sx. Someday $$$$$$
Exactly! Dumb people ruined it with their law suits. Never once did I get hurt on a 3 wheeler. Rode them all summer and ice raced in the winter.

I remember when Honda ruled the world with their 3 wheelers. I used to ice race one.
Fun times. We did the ice races once too. Though these were more of the type we sold plus the All Sports. Won the little 8 HP or whatever it was division.

Back in the day our communities used to have events like ice racing at the local winter carnivals, but they don't do anything that cool any more.

I remember when we all had Big Red's and then the 300X came out. That was ground breaking, LOL

I remember when 20/20 did their ATC's will kill you show.

Look at how dangerous they are, on this incline just a push on the handle bar and it rolls over!

Oh, yeah, smart guy, what happens to a motorcycle on flat ground, if you just let go of the handle bar?

Some people are idiots.

A few years later Dateline tried to out do them and did the Chevy trucks explode episode where they used model rocket engines to create the balls of fire. They say, "you can't make stuff up like this", but they haven't ever tried to create "news". Like those "investigative reporters".

I still have 4, put a gina electric start Honda knockoff engine in this one, perfect for killing ants and running down to paint targets.

I had a 84 200X that I used to ride in the Glastonbury Meadows in CT. Wintertime, it would flood at some point, freeze, recede and collapse. Some areas created bowls, and we used to race around them. No tire studs though. But with packed snow on top, we did fine. Weight distribution was key to 3 wheelers. I called it body english.

oh I do, just didn't have the funds to organized race. We rode hard and fast all the time. No sight seeing for me. Only mods were jetting, fuel, and exhaust. Didn't pick up much from that.
