Good Morning
65° with a high in the upper 70’s. Grey and a few spits of rain. Not enough to register on the rain gauge. Supposed to clear up after the cold front passes.
Yesterday started with cutting some sandblast rubber and shortening a diamond core bit for my buddy the Rockman. That involved cutting it down to the desired length. Boring the old shaft out of the hub, then brazing the shortened shaft into the hub.
I did get the steel bars to make fireplace tools and a stand. A length of each 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4. Now I’ve got to figure out what I am going to make.
Added buttons for the garage door openers to operate them from our new door into the garage.
Went by the airport to install the repaired cellular switch for the engine heater on the little plane. I keep it connected so I can remotely turn it on to preheat the engine. (Assuming it actually gets cold this winter).
Then it was put the feet up and wait for our lone trick or treater (grandson).
