Good morning!!!!

Good early (Friday) arvo. Overnight Low of 8.2C and it's presently 19.9C, partly cloudy with a breeze. The BOM didn't 'fib' yesterday, a late arvo shower resulted in 3.4mm in the gauge @ 0900.

I was on TBN earlier when I got a call from 'the plumber' that he could get at the Church's toilet today (0945). Yep, I'll be there in 15 minutes. Anyway, it was completed by 1220, so now I'm home.

Sort of a putter day today as I seem to have all of my ducks in a row.

That's about it, take care all.

Our big rain day today was a big disappointment with only .09" of rain this morning, clear skies by the afternoon and evening, I bet the trick -or-treaters were happy.
Saturday and Monday are the next high 50% chance of rain days. Will see . . .

Rain is very hard to come by odd being all that water vapor that Tonga put out settling in other places in the world. It will continue this until 2029.

Thanks sodamo, scotty I grow weary

Coffee has been poured. 46° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 50° with clouds and winds. Late breakfast went good. Then we came back to my place and put garden pond net up. Rain showed up. .01" But wind did a good job of sending leaves in to field and woods to east of my place. No plans for today yet.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

good morning all
weather radar shows a front going down to the Gulf and doing its normal 45 degree angle NE
doesn't look like much.
but it's coming later this morning, likely a drizzle.

if it doesn't wash the dust off the car, all it will make is a huge mess of the car and my newly washed rv.
The rv roof has not seen water in over two months. When it does, it's all coming down the sides...
I might send my nephew's 14 yo son up there with a bucket of suds and a scrub brush.
First he has to understand the concept of working backwards (painting away from a wall or corner)
so he doesn't walk on the slippery suds and fall off. He's not a big guy so perfect for this job and easier on my fiberglass roof
than me at 230.

caulk around the roof fixtures is a heavy use of the thick self leveling caulk. Stuff gets good reviews.
But it's filthy now and all I can do is prod a few edges, test it here or there. No leaks. Just preventative maintenance.
I'd like to get the roof cleaned before the winter cover goes on.
one thing I did learn online is that you can't add anything but self leveling caulk to self leveling caulk; other compounds don't stick well.

somewhere I have that gizmo to flow out the air lines. Just have to find it...sigh. I do this a lot.

Bill, keep the snow up there for a while please. I'm behind with too much to do and
please wait til December.

I'm having Thanksgiving with local family but think I might cook a little turkey anyway.
But I want it to be different. I've had deep fried, my that's good though not so healthy.
I could cheat and just buy a big turkey breast and cover it with what? figs? apples? honey?
have to get some real cranberries too. NJ cranberries, not too far away.

off to get my reading glasses back from local shop; frames broke, again.
This time they are getting me a heavy duty titanium frame that is red in color.
I fall asleep reading in bed and roll over the glasses at night apparently...
I was sort of not given an option, as this is my third attempt after wrecking the last two pairs.
They won't charge me but I'll take them a box of chocolates as a thank you.
I have astigmatism so prescription readers that correct that area are a blessing.
don't have to hold Kindle at an angle

Good morning TBN!! 62 this morning going to get to near 80 again today with slim chance of shower.
Slept pretty poor on Wed night so yesterday wasn't too ambitious.
Did some leaf control on and off through the day. Blew the deck off at lunch and you couldn't tell by dinner :( and musta did the garage 3 or 4 times. Funny how the doors seem to be a magnet.
Worked on the drive a little bit and one of the trails. Then started to lube the FEL and promptly ran out of grease. I'll go get some today and finish the job.
Also going to try and get the 4 wheeler running but looking at the relay for it I may have received the wrong part.
Dog got some walking time and so did I 12k+ steps. 5.82 miles.
Time for another cup and get rolling
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

Thanks sodamo, scotty I grow weary
we all wish we could carry a little of your load so as to lighten it Buppies
make the best of your good days

I thought marrying a nurse was a great idea for many reasons.
Turns out I wound up being the caregiver for many years.
Last two years was 200 days in hospital.
I started on TBN as a way to kill time sitting in that hospital chair
I could dream of a new Kubota.
at one point after the umpteenth operation, my wife looked up at me and said
honey I think it's time you got your new tractor.
and I did and many of you remember I had a little heart painted on rear window with
her name in it.

so sometimes it's us guys taking care of the wives, not other way around.
I got serious caregiver PTSD and had to escape to NC.
Worrying for too long is the part that gets you weary.
The what next thoughts you can't avoid.
the stress from which doesn't help Buppie's own health.
so perhaps at least mentally we will try to lighten Buppies load

having someone to talk to is really important.
