I need a couple of these can can't find them anywhere. It is the round/bent over part that the pin goes through to hold them on (see pic). Anyone know? Thanks.

That's the correct answer for the washer, the other part is the lynch pin sold at most farm supply outlets and by the box from Harbor Freight. The washers are sold by the pair and you will need to know whether your hitch is cat 1 or cat 2 as the sizes differ.

They also work well for securing trailer latches since they wont freeze like a padlock. Lots of uses for these

I ordered Cat. 1. I hope that's right. They aren't being used on a hitch (then again, not sure how "hitch" is being used).

Musta not looked very hard... LOL Every box store like Lowes or Home Despot will have them and the washers as well and so does Tractor Supply or Bains or Farm and Fleet...
Far as the 'bent over washer' is concerned, buy a flat washer clamp it in a vise and bend it over... You'll need a Fender Washer which is a larger diameter.

My BIL. keeps his 4" vise in a cardboard box in the corner. He's not much of a tool guy, or DIY guy.
It's sometimes frustrating to help him with his projects.

I have used fender washers without bending them over, works just as well. The only issue in doing that is if you unhook and hook up often to the same piece of equipment the washers may walk and not be out on the ends of the pins, but in operating times the washers work fine.
Buying fender washers and bending them over can be done, but you will have to cut a notch in the bent over flange for the lynch pin to go through.

They are cute bent washers, but I'm not sure I see any advantage mechanically. Wouldn't it work better to just stack up some washers or cut a piece of pipe to length?

Need a washer, put on a washer, personally never seen need for one that is custom for use with clevis pin....
