Hello,
Does anyone know where I can purchase a hydrolic chute assembly for a WOODS 3 point snowblower?
WOODS discontinued the snowblower.

Thanks

Unless you can find a dealer who has one in stock you will either have to make one or adapt one.
Do you have a picture of the snow blower?
There are a few common ways that people go about it, but it depends on how it is set up.

This is a good application for a simple 12v 'linear actuator'. Not used continuously and light loads and no 2nd hydraulic circuit is required on the tractor.
I have 3 rear remotes and I've contemplated adding a chute deflector to my blower and decided that IF I did, it would be an electric rather than hydraulic for simplicity and probably less costs.

I agree with going electric. Whether it's a linear motor or a wiper motor would depend on the current setup. If it has a crank setup now, adding a motor and a mount is probably a 1/2-hour job.

Oh yeah, if you can't spell it don't do it. ;)

WOODS discontinued the snowblower.

You don't really need a chute assembly, just a hydraulic kit for the one you have, right?

Is yours set up for a bellcrank and hydraulic cylinder to turn the chute? Or do you need a hydraulic motor to engage the teeth around the base of the chute? Either way, I'd investigate the other snowblower brands. When I needed a bellcrank and hardware to convert mine, I found that many used the the same parts. Woods might be compatible with Meteor, Blizzard, FarmKing, Buhler, Frontier, . . . at least I'd try to look at their parts diagrams and compare.

I much prefer hydraulic chute rotation if you can find it. I bet you can find the exact parts you need under a different brand name. Just look for the "optional" parts / kits for similar size snowblowers.

Good luck!

Google "snowblower hydraulic kit". Lots of leads and options to investigate.
