YM2000D Motor oil Capacity

This is a 4wd YM2000D not to be confused with the YM2000 2 cylinder.

This is a 3 cylider engine and I'm trying to help an elderly friend do an oil change and can't find anything on the net.

I don't know the capacity, would guess between 4-1/2 and 5 quarts. If 3 cylinder you are talking about a YMG2000. YM2000 is two cylinder.

Apparently the engine or hood decals were replaced at sometime in the past becuase it's definitely a 3 cylinder engine.

A YMG2000 is a far better machine over the YM2000. I hope his machine is the G with the more modern setup.

Going to start with 4 quarts check the oil level and adjust accordingly.
Im estimating it's going to take a little over 5 quarts to fill her up.

Page 5 tells you how much oil the engine takes. 4.5L (5-qts)

Yes, 5qts engine and a little more for the filter.

The machine has the same hydraulic capacity as my YM2610 with the 3T80. It will be 19 to 21 quarts to change out with J20C Hy-Gard or TF500A. Both work.
