Mahindra 5155 Anyone?

Now that's what I call a hard working tractor! Oh, and operator.

Is that a W.R. Long third function. If you installed it yourself, any tricks to share? The instructions are somewhat brief. Especially where is the loader valve hydraulic block under the tractor. A pic of how it looks after the installation would be helpful. Thank you.+

My 5155 arrives this evening - finally! So excited!

W.R. long, installed by dealer. i will zip tie that hydraulic line that i show pulled away from the stock valve. the hose plumbing is fairly straightforward.

Well mine is messed up too, you actually need this to adjust for transportation, so you can isolate/ disable the rear hydro when trailering the machine....I'll have the dealership look at mine because I want it completely functional....I also have a problem with my RPM gauge....it stops working when warmed up....anyone know where the tach gets it's pulse from, thout I might be able to check a few things before I haul it all the way to the dealership?

It is not messed up it is functioning as designed it is just a funky design, bottom line is that the dealer cannot make it any better and it will work fine as is, just feels like it is broken. As to the Tach drive it comes straight from the ECU and is a digital signal. better let the dealer deal with that if it is the only thing that does not work when it warms up, the problem is most likely in the instrument cluster and there is not much that is serviceable in that, most likely the dealer will just replace it unless there is a software update but either way not user serviceable.

It is not messed up it is functioning as designed it is just a funky design, bottom line is that the dealer cannot make it any better and it will work fine as is, just feels like it is broken. Oh it's definitely broken, I veryfied that it was turned all the way wide open, and was going to just leave it alone at that point.... however that crudely made mechanism fell apart, now it just spins freely both ways....not connected any more, so ya, it is messed up, I will be fixing that myself permanently, thanks for input on cluster, that's pretty much what I figured.

Excellent. Thank you! Received my 5155 last Wed and had to leave for grand kids birthdays in Seattle on Thurs so have not been able to do anything. But first thing when I return is the third function so I can use my grapple. The photos help greatly. Thank you.

8" huesach and too much force, But there is a method to my madness. I purchased a light duty grapple expressly for the purpose of it being the weak link until I gain some experience with the FEL/Grapple, this is the second time I have pushed too hard and each time it is the grapple that has bent not the FEL. in this case i forgot to roll the fel down before pulling back so instead of putting force on the hinge part i put it on the end of the cover, which is the weakest point on the grapple.

i looked at the electrical a little more closely, the tech tied the hot to the starter hot terminal (with inline fuse) i did not find where he grounded it.

Thanks for the info. It is likely grounded by the valve's attachment bolts to the tractor frame.

I fixed the grapple, 10 ton porta power a pull back ram, 1 smashed finger, not perfect but chicks dig scars right.

Lol. Yeah the chicks dig it. Grapples are awesome tools. Glad you’re using the tractor. The more hours I put on mine the more I like it. Over the past two weekends I placed and graded about 46 tons of limestone gravel in my driveway. Tractor and loader working good.
