I ended up buying a 1 year old Branson 4215 with 45 hours on it. It has the 3rd hydraulic remote function, engine block heater, CAB with air, heat & radio, 4 cylinder engine, 62" bucket with a cutting edge, loaded rear tires for $31,000 delivered to my door. The loader is rated for more than 2,000#

Hoping to buy a new HST Loader Tractor - full sized compact frame.

Kubota has always been at or near the top of my list.

However while researching, the lift capacity posted for the various Kubota CUT's are significantly LESS than most of the competition.

Trying to get at least 2,000# lift capacity without buying an 'M' Series. Budget is around ~ $30,000.

Any insights?

TIA

Hey from under the bridge Dave.
I bought a L3560 w/ LA805 about 6 years ago. I researched much like you. One thing I realized and someone else said, to what height are they measuring when they say to "lift to max height"? Someone who can lift 400 lbs more to 20 inches less is not comparable. Breakout force is a decent idea of how strong your loader and lift capacity will be. What is the comparison at a real word use of 48 inches? I'd say if you haven't had a tractor before, you are taking too much of the lift into account up front. Why do you now need to suddenly lift 2000 lbs? I've not once wished I could lift more with my setup, but I've wished several times I had lifted less when I'm in a serious oh sh*t moment. Nothing like being on 3 tires (once in a marsh it went up onto 1 front) to make you realize how lucky you just were to get out of the situation. Make a load slightly smaller, instead of 10, make 12 loads. I've taken care of my 5 acres, my folks 10, a friends 80 acres of farms, and been invited to use it to cut firewood here and there. Be safe out there and good luck.

Sorry, I just noticed you got your rig. Nice setup buddy, that'll move some snow, and keep you warm. Congrats.

Any chance you verify your shiny new Branson will lift 2000 lbs . typically I have found factory ratings fall short with set forks on front shifting the vector out forward of the pins. I have ls xr3135 max conrete bags I can lift with woods forks is 1300 lbs above the hood way above. It was rated 1800 lbs. The forks add weight too. I think all the printed specifications are all different for these manufacturers no standards exists to verify weight capacity just subjective guest.

Well there is this basically the same FEL although this is the smaller tired lower HP 2515... has a 104" max pin height

Yes, believe what is shown need to state clearly water is liquid and can move changing center of gravity. I believe there are couple of guys on YouTube using cement bags 80 lbs each. This would be solid dead weight that would not change center of gravity. My education came from roofing shingles. That’s where I found tractor would only lift 1300 lbs max height. I know it can breakaway force to lift off the ground 1-2 feet at 1800 lbs without issue. Again these are not fork trucks as stated in earlier thread. Just glad they can lift what I don’t want to lift manually, they do make work much easier. Not sure how our forefathers survived without hydraulics. Granted block and tackle were their hydraulic function in the day. Makes tired thinking about pulling on rope all day to fill the hay loft.
