Morning all- sunny and warm today.
Showed my son how to drill and assemble the new brackets to hold the torsion bar on the Simplicity. Will be testing later. Looks like these should hold, 1/4" plates from a slightly newer Regent. The original holder wore out and the tranny tilted, loosening the belt.
Fun to get him acquainted with all the tools and had him do some drilling and put in the bolts.
This Lawn mower is for him to tool around the property.
Did the head gasket and valves with him last year and then the torsion bar mount wore through, so he only got to drive is once.
David - google translate- Kahu lumi nani is beautiful room attendant
Roy - I hope Margeaux settles back down soon- with the wife hurt and the new digs, sure to throw any dog for a loop
Found out the "Hemlock" is really snake root- while still poisonous , unlike hemlock won't give you a rash if touched. Much less worried about it now. So much for online experts and plant ID.
Wngsprd - hard scrubbing is a good workout. I need to do that on some areas that the pressure washer can;t get too. Not motivated to do so anytime soon..
BEF - sad to hear- our thoughts to their Dad.
RNG - that shootout sounds fun- training to find out your gaps is always great, and having fun while doing it, priceless. I have never been to something like that, but hearing my police friends describe their practice runs, it seems like you got a good subset of it.
Off to get lunch and then see if we can get the simplicity going and see how the torsion bar fix works.
Stay safe and be well.
Oh and the twins and mom are back and looking healthy:
