There's a trick to that which isn't obvious:

When you put a photo in a draft, click in it. This reveals corner flags. Drag a corner flag toward the opposite side to make the photo smaller.

The reader can click in the shrunken image. That will expand it to full screen.
Everybody do what this man says.

Now that things have settled down - in the poster's Attachment section, how about restoring the number times that photos have been viewed. Even if the count starts from the recent site upgrade.

That feature was a useful tool to judge if old photos should be purged. I have a few old ones where people are continuing to post in the thread so they should stay up, and there have been some that are no longer relevant, some a decade or more old, so I've purged them. Now, the information to judge this is no longer available.

I'm seeing 'you must log in to do that' first thing each morning.
I posted that a week ago from my home PC. Now I'm out at the ranch on a laptop and don't have that problem, Stay Logged In works properly. (both are Firefox, Win7).

So apparently the problem is me and not a site issue. Likely an excess of script blocking, or similar. I'll look into it when I go back to town.

CA, I tend to keep all of mine up. Why? You never know who has browsed thru and seen the image. AND, via search engine images, one can see the images without adding to the count. There are so many times, I have found images related back to you and I've not been on TBN to view them at all. Same goes for rScotty and Winston.

When purged from your Attachments I would think they stay in the thread.

Also I think nobody else can see your Attachments file.

I never used my Attachments in the old version and I think I have posted more attachments than anyone else:

Exactly, it's not like you have a limit on how many images you can have on here, so what would be the benefit of removing old images (unless they are misleading or factually incorrect)?

I am pretty sure that if you remove them from attachments, they disappear from the thread.
That is how it worked on the previous version.
@Muhammad could you clarify this?

Yes they are deleted from the thread.

Here's a request: when I click "Mark forums read" at the top, it challenges me with a "are you sure?" confirmation dialog, so then a second click is required.

I don't think that is necessary. We didn't have it on the old site. Normally when you click that you know what you're doing. Even if it's clicked by accident it's not a fatal issue. No need for a confirmation dialog in my opinion.
