Good morning!!!!

It's not my router, it's the facilities, headed down there now to see if they will give me password. Otherwise I'll just use the printer cable for what little printing I do.
but thanks, good to know when I'm back in my own place.

I know it’s their router. I wouldn’t use it like that, where everyone else has access to your printer, computer, etc. I recommend your own router so you can isolate yourself from their wireless network.

You can set up wan on the router I referenced to use their network, then set up your own private wireless network in your room that they can’t access.
There’s even a $40 version of that router that’s not gigabit speed and no 5mhz option. I use one in my house.

Tire size and length of seat tube to pedal crank center would be a good start. My bike is 29” tires and 15” frame.

Saw an ad on YouTube for an ebike. Interesting for us older mature guys. Lol

thanks, there's a setting saying do you want to not have anyone have access to this, another words, when you bring up the list of connected pcs, won't show up.
I'm only here for three months, not buying a router for three print jobs...but I understand what you are saying and thanks.
plugging in a printer cable solves all privacy issues...

now I'm finding I don't think I was the original owner of this "new" printer, the hold down tape strips inside missing. So even with printer cable, now have doubts.

Can you tell us more about the Kubota K-PAD, RS?

Best parts system I've found so far is the Messik's web site, and it leaves a lot to be desired...:grumpy:

Just a guess, but I suspect that K-PAD is the backend to what Messicks offers on their website.

Unlike Messicks, K-PAD doesn't require any signup, login, or email address.

K-PAD does not like Apple's Safari browser and gives a warning message when you try and access it with Safari, saying it is incompatible (which is not exactly true) ... and that it will support Safari in a future version "soon" (it's been like that for several years ... so, yeah ... sure ... "soon" ...)

Screen Shot 2020-06-18 at 12.04.52.png

You can use Safari to access it however (at least Safari version 12.1.2) - but it's a little tricky. You have to turn on the "Develop" menu in Safari (under "Advanced Settings in Safari 12.1.2) and then set the "User Agent" (under the "develop" menu) to something else other Default (Automatically chosen)

I typically set it to Internet Explorer 10.

Once you have done that, then open the following link:

https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/

Once you have done that you'll have to navigate thru a few screens, agreeing to TOS and disclaimers, but any new tabs that are opened as a result of you clicking on links should open successfully finally landing you at the model look upon page:

Initial K-PAD page:

Disclaimer/Terms page:

Model Lookup page:

From there you can search for and select a model ... and then drill down into the specific sub-system you are trying to find parts for.

68°F and .15 inches rain, looking a bit iffy for the morning. Sure the garden appreciates.

Have to make a trip to WallyWorld for wife’s post op prescriptions.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Thanks, Dennis. I have 2 of the older units, would have to look up, but 1 black, 1 white.
Drew should do this. Very very easy setup, at least the old ones. Once setup Drew can take to his new digs and likely just have to change WAN source and will be up and running.

I may have to look at new version and upgrade.

Drew, sounds like you are settling in. Haven’t enjoyed a good bagel in quite some time. If you walk outside do they give you some sort of tracker?

Here the one we use at the ranch. We like that it just plugs into a wall outlet.

RNG, not familiar with those batteries, but look nice. How many ah/ Kwh? Suggest you might want to Google all the OB lithium stuff. They have a nice sheet listing the suggested settings. Once you have all your settings send a copy to API for verification. From my observations, lithium setting are not so cut and dried, bit of tweaking by manufacturers.

Primary means of setting your system is via Mate3s, OpticsRE still missing a few. Otherwise, no readily available alternative I’m aware of. But the good news you won’t be making changes once dialed in. In that case you might find the local lan view sufficient. Me, I check OpticsRE on my ipad/iphone several times a day just out of curiosity. Every morning, I trudge out to tractorshed and dutifully log SOC, voltage, actual usage, PV production by CC into my Numbers spreadsheet. Except for the actual kwh used off my meters, most of the rest os available via OpticsRE, but old habits hard to change. Of course the dogs and cat follow for their treat.

That doesn’t isolate you from being on a shared network, which was my recommendation. My concern was drew using a hot spot, shared by everyone else.
It appears from his comment that when he joins the hotspot it offers to block the connection from others, but if he has his computer on hotpot, and printer on hotspot separately, will he be able to print if he says block others from using it? I doubt it.

I don’t use public hotspots, like in hotels. I don’t want others sniffing my internet traffic trying to grab passwords, etc.

hah, they would not let me outside at all...
I had to walk round and round small inside courtyard to get some exercise, and older woman at one end doing Soduko and smoking away, so had to get away from her smoke.
Smoking in assisted living, what does that tell you. Some habits impossible to break I suppose. Or maybe her prognosis was bad enough she just didn't care.

When I was in rehab center last summer, it was nice when I felt good enough to push my wheelchair outside. Even in august, I enjoyed sitting outside in the shade with a little breeze blowing. Two and a half weeks it will be a year since I got GBS.
