Yes ... always very sad ... when an agent of the state - acting under the color of law - commits a murder of an unarmed citizen.

The America I grew up in, space flight and race riots!
The launch was spectacular and bringing the booster back is awesome. I felt like we were red headed stepchildren using Russian launch vehicles.

Yup, and same actors on both fronts.
Pride and prejudice

Good morning, the temp is 53°F and only going up to 63, in Markham, ON. Wind WSW 4 mph. Cloudy.

After I leave home for work, I stay at work or in the general area until layoff time in fall. I am going to go get my little wagons this morning and get ready for the northwest.

Gotta go, have a safe, healthy day all

Nice looking rig, what does she weigh maxed out?

Good morning! 54 now, maybe 70 later and supposed to be sunny. Similar day tomorrow.

We sure got dumped in yesterday rsw. My driveway liked like a river at one point. Was in the garage and couldn稚 see the trees on the other side of the road, looked like a wall of water.

Got a turtle problem in the pond. Need to work on that today. Plus mow.

Everyone stay safe out there

Best for turtle problems. Ricochets are rare.

Good morning! 60˚F clear skies. All of the pics and tubes posted today look so much better on the RNG suggested 16" MacBook Pro. So many thing to learn on this machine. It will be a good afternoon project.

The neighborhood trail we worked on during the Fall/Winter/Spring opened up to the public yesterday so I took Whipper for a walk on it. It is a mile long trail so out and back is 2 miles. It looked like Fall with so many leaves on it that were knocked out of the trees from the hail/ice storm. The last of the hail was melted after 24 hours. The roof repair people are descending on the neighborhood. Several people on the next street do have significant damage where the baseball size hail fell.

Kyle I see where your county's covid cases have doubled overnight to 21 cases. Did they test a nursing home or the state school?

It looks like I will have to break out my camera or reload the phone TBN app or get a new SE phone before I can post any more pics.

The new MacBook has 4 "thunderbolt" slots - smaller than a USB so I think I'll have to get some adapters before my camera can be attached.

not sure Don. Yesterday's post #1 spelled it out. Atomization. Plus, when people cough or sneeze, it can go many many feet distance. If it gets in the HVAC, IMO, it can be distributed...So I believe this is how so many health people are getting it. HVAC.

Is that the John Deere SxS Kyle?

Yes! 3 wide, and lots of legroom. Come drive it in real conditions if you want.

thanks guys
will be a while before I'm more active
big day
dealer who sold me Massey came and picked it up to buy or consign, really liked that tractor
putting rv in storage
truck sold yesterday

Ted, nice work as always

boring day in rehab and awful food sigh

Prayers. Bad food might be their motivator to make your mind up about hurrying to get out.....and the all night around the clock wake up checks... I looked up adrenal cancer because I was not familiar with it. Not fun, but good possibilities.

My son just got MacBook Air 13”. It has USB C. He bought a couple C to A adapters.
If I got one it would be the pro. $2500 after $200 off at Costco. Hard price to swallow.

Sheesh. Those prices are higher than female giraffe anatomy....

Good evening all. 64F this morning, not many clouds and nrear calm wind. Light wind today, sky stayed mostly clear, humidity stayed down and high temp was 86F. Bike ride first thing this morning, 62+ miles nice day to ride. After lunch watched launch then napped, and started working on fishing reel that was aon the rod I caught the other day. lot of gunk inside, and 2 small brass pices fell out that I don't know where they go.
Covid update: Cooke unchanged, Montague unchanged, Grayson unchanged.
Bill. nice looking rig
Roy have fun with the installation
RNG hope the tarps and plywood work as intended, nice video.
Ron, I think we all want to have your aunt's energy at her age. Great pic of the clouds.
Billy have not tried napping on them, I nap better when laying down. The wet sand shoveling sounds like hard work
Rich, did you get snapping turtles in the pond?
Billy masks have been hard to come by around here, stepdaughter picked some masks(not N95) up for us from her work.
Don good luck with working out picture posting.
Randy don't think you have to keep up with over achievers :confused2:
Buppies you have plenty on list , may take a while to dry out after all that rain.
Mike that is a goo size limb, hope no other damage.
Ted hope supervising went well.
Drew glad truck sold. and tractor is being taken care of. Wish your food was better.
RS Bridgeports bore ok, just remember spindle not that rigid to get best results.
Molalla1 welcome and good luck with the surgery.
RS that looks like an older Bridgeport, is that a feed box I see?
prayers for all especially Drew
stay safe and healthy

Thanks Kyle. We've used them at Rodeo Houston for years so I'm very familiar with the JD's. Appreciate your offer though.

Got Chinese for diner. Then went out with lopers to trim a couple small trees. Neighbor invited us over to a bonfire they are having, they put in a new fire pit.
So hauled off a couple loads of branches, got pics of another nice sunset, then went to neighbors. Stayed till after 11. Met new neighbors a couple houses over that built a couple years ago.

Good morning all. Earlier this week they announced that we have had more sunshine this spring than ever before and the blue skies have kept on coming ever since. It got me wondering how they could record it in the days before silicon or germanium photo sensors. The earliest instrument used in England and later in most of the world was invented by a Scotsman called John Francis Campbell in 1853. His mark 1 version was a spherical ball filled with water that acted as a magnifying glass. It left a trace of burn marks on a hollow wooden bowl positioned below, the gaps in between each scorch mark representing when it was cloudy. As I understand it, the bowl could be left in position for many days, because the the changing arc of the sun would trace a different path each day - a multi-track recorder !

Randy, chapter 2 !!! - tench fishing is never going to be the same again :ashamed:

Drew, you had some good times with the Massey and you still have a lifetimes free use of those memories - all without without needing to do a single oil change.

45 right now...high in the mid-50's today...

Installation of the seat suspension was difficult. It was a mix of "one size fits all" and "one size fits none". The installation requires swapping the slide rails side to side (the fore-aft adjustment lever was on the inside, but needs to be outboard for the suspension seat install. There are stamped stiffeners on the seat mounting plate that now prevent usage of the fore-aft adjustment. A bit of a bummer, but since I never make fore-aft adjustments, and I'm the only one here who mows...guess I can deal with it. Routing the seat switch wiring was a pain too...my hands aren't particularly big, but clipping the wiring harness to the seat switch required the use of a lot of profanity. Since I'm quite proficient at that (learned something in the Navy), I eventually persevered.
As far as the ride...although improved, I haven't found the sweet spot between the firm and soft settings.

After that, we grilled...I had my usual Portobello mushrooms....and a couple beers (this was after mowing the lawn).

Today...probably trim and rig the chipper to the tractor . If time (and weather) permits, do some chipping this afternoon
