Hap[py that men tend to age better than woman and there is always a new model coming along. Keeps a man young.

It's really great to read about all of you who have been successfully married for much of your life.

I seriously am the luckiest man on the planet. I scored the best one 42 years ago. And we still look forward to spending our day together.

I will have to strongly disagree you. I got it right albeit the second time, and we are soul mates. We also spend a lot of time together whether it be traveling, working around the house, watching TV, or just running to the store whether it is for her or me. My shop is about my only me time which is fine with me.

Asked how long we have been married, I said about 28 years, SWMBO threw something at5 me (she often does this, to date it has always been a sock or similar), we were married in 1982, two daughters who are quite supportive.
Our 'arguments' are humerous and no one gets hurt, even the dogs sit on the side line looking amused.
We are on our ninth property and I vowed this will be the last one as I have no intention of moving again, this is the one we have just bid on as ours has sold.
The dam is about 5 acres and if we get it will be stocked with trout.
I think the BX will be out of its depth and already looking at something bigger.
Life is good apart from this lockdown but I work two days a fortnight and get to see other people too, the other half is the same but works 3-4 days a week.
Have plenty of toilet paper so we are blessed.

You sound like us, we are on our 4th forever home, and just closed on a 55 acre farm property 30 minutes away. It has a 1900 farmhouse that is literally untouched since it was built. Can't wait to get started.

Bunyip is the town not me, about 3km away from this place, not huge but adequate with a supermarket, bank, pub, mechanic etc, nearest big town is about 20 minutes away.
