Battery powered grease gun recommendations?

Looking for the actual operating weight with a (full grease cartridge) of a Milwaukee #2646-20 and for a DEWALT 20V MAX I have read that the Dewalt is heavy. The specs say a dewalt wt is 8 lbs but also see comment from some that state it weighs 14.8 pounds. Thanks for your input

DeWalt 20v with battery and relatively full grease tube : 9 lbs, 13.5oz on a postal scale (no case or charger).
It's an awesome grease gun.

My DeWalt 20V weighs 8 lbs 10 oz with no grease or battery.

Bought the DeWalt 20V last year also.
Had a Lincoln pneumatic, which in comparison is a POS.

The Dewalt is heavyish. But with the long hose (and even better a Lock N Lube) you set it on some surface nearby while hooking up & pumping. No need to actually hold it in most cases.

It seems as though it would be difficult to find any battery powered grease gun significantly lighter.
Total weight must equal gun assembly, full tube of grease, hose, and battery.
Pneumatic is lighter (no battery weight), but dealing with the air hose is a major hassle.

I've got a handful of Ryobi stuff to use at home, and I grabbed their grease gun back at christmas, when they had the batteries/free tool combo. It works great. It is kinda heavy, but I don't know how it compares to the others. It is Ryobi, so only time will tell if it'll hold up, but I have no complaints after the first few months.

We have a DeWalt one at work, it is also heavy but with the long hose there is usually enough space to set it down someplace and not have to hold it the whole time that you're greasing.

I purchased a Lincoln which has worked great. My dad had one which is why I purchased the brand. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the brands that have been mentioned.

I see Milwaukee #2646-20 has a Pre Set Grease Counter Dial, anyone know if this really is worth anything ? Does the Dewalt have a similar feature?? As I usually place 2 or 3 pumps with my manual grease gun per most zerks on my loader as I just what to place enough to just start to push out some of the existing grease.

I have the Milwaukee M18 Fuel grease gun; had it for a couple of years now. Absolutely love it. Nice long hose with a holder that keeps the grease inside; has an LED light so you can see what you're greasing, has two speeds (volume vs pressure) and also has the preset grease dial. I don't use the preset amount dial...might be useful for certain applications, but for me I just wait to see grease moving out from whatever joint or coupling I'm greasing.

You can hear the cycles of the piston & the trigger is variable speed on the Dewalt. Works the same as a manual gun (only easier) for guessing how much grease you are pumping. It gets noisy if it's working hard due to a plugged or balky fitting.

I am not different that everyone else, I like DeWalt Tools, their twelve volt series is a great tool at a light weight and the latest releases are even more powerful, but there were no twelve volt grease guns, made by deWalt. I put the money down on a twenty volt DeWalt Grease Gun and I have never looked back. Well maybe on one thing and it could just be me, getting the grease tube out of the gun when it is empty !

After using the DeWalt twenty volt grease gun for the first time I had to stop and wonder WHY I didn't buy this sooner.
Most grease fitting just accepted grease, a problem that did arise was the end of the gun, that grabbed the grease fitting, it would leak grease out the sides.

In cometh the Lock-N-Lube Grease Gun Coupler, WOW, if I was surprised how well the Battery Powered Grease Gun was working, this Coupler was the next step up; as with the Gun, it just worked !

So I own the DeWalt 20V Grease Gun with the Lock-N-Lube Grease Gun Coupler XL, the long Coupler, and I have never been happier when greasing the Tractor. Although I have asked the Wife to buy the Lock-N-Lube Attachment Kit.

Everyone has their opinions, everyone likes a certain brand, mine is DeWalt, and I have proof of how well it works every time I use it !

The industry is working 60 volts, 20 as the standard, and I am not sure if I saw a 120volt battery, just how big can they get... ?

Actually, 20 volts is all just marketing hype. A 18 volt battery and a 20 volt battery are both at 20 volts when fully charged.
The 18 volt battery is based on the "resting voltage" when it is fully charged and has sat for a while.
A 20 volt battery is based on the peak charge voltage when it has just come off the charger.

+1 Lock N Lube Couplers.

11 years ago I purchased a 12v Lincoln with only 1 battery, wanted it as light as I could get at the time so be the 12v, and 1 battery only gets charge about 1 to 2 times a year.

Purchased a Lock N Lube coupler a few years ago, and I should of bought it as soon as they came out...

Makes greasing the tractor is so easy a cave man can do it...
